I offered the prayer with the Prophet, Abu Bakr and `Umar at Mina and it was of two rak`at. `Uthman in the early days of his caliphate did the same, but later on he started praying the full prayer.

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) offered a two-rak`at prayer at Mina. Abu Bakr, `Umar and `Uthman, (during the early years of his caliphate) followed the same practice.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said two rak'ahs at Mina, and Abu Bakr after him, and 'Umar after Abu Bakr, and 'Uthman at the beginning of his caliphate; then 'Uthman observed four rak'ahs, and when Ibn 'Umar prayed with the Imam, he said four

Ahdullah b. Umar (reported) that he had not seen Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) touching anything in the House, except the two Yamani corners.

I prayed along with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) four rak'ahs at the noon prayer at Medina and two rak'ahs at the afternoon prayer in Dhu al-Hulaifah.

"I prayed two rak'ahs with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on a journey, and two rak'ahs with Abu Bakr, and two rak'ahs with 'Umar, may Allah (SWT) be pleased with them both."

"I prayed two rak'ahs with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) in Mina, and with Abu Bakr and 'Umar, and two rak'ahs with 'Uthman at the beginning of his Caliphate."

"I prayed two rak'ahs in Mina with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)."

"Uthman prayer four (rak'ahs) in Mina until news of that reached 'Abdullah who said: 'I prayed two rak'ahs with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).'"

"I prayed two rak'ahs with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) in Mina, and two rak'ahs with Abu Bakr, may Allah (SWT) be pleased with him, and two rak'ahs with Umar, may Allah (ﷺ) be pleased with him."

His father said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prayed two rak'ahs in Mina, and Abu Bakr prayed two rak'ahs, and Umar prayed two rak'ahs, and Uthman prayed (two rak'ahs) at the beginning of his Khilafah."

'Uthman prayed in Mina with four rak’ahs and ‘Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) said: I prayed with the Prophet (ﷺ) in Mina with two rak'ah's and with Abu Bakr two rak'ahs and with ‘Umar two rak'ahs.

I prayed two rak'ahs with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) in Mina, and two rak'ahs with Abu Bakr (رضي الله عنه), and two rak'wits with 'Umar (رضي الله عنه), and I wish that I had of these four rak'ahs two that are accepted.

I prayed two rak'ahs with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), two rak’ahs with Abu Bakr (رضي الله عنه) and two rak'ahs with 'Umar (رضي الله عنه).

When he saw 'Uthman pray four rak’ahs in Mina -: I prayed two rak'ahs behind the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and two rak'ahs behind Abu Bakr, and two rak'ahs behind ‘Umar. I hope that out of four, two rak'ahs will be accepted from me.
