‏ مَا مِنْ ذَنْبٍ أَجْدَرُ أَنْ يُعَجِّلَ اللَّهُ لِصَاحِبِهِ الْعُقُوبَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا مَعَ مَا يَدَّخِرُ لَهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ - مِنَ الْبَغْىِ وَقَطِيعَةِ الرَّحِمِ ‏

English translation

It was narrated from Abu Bakrah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

“There is no sin more deserving that Allah hasten the punishment in this world, in addition to what is stored up for him in the Hereafter – than injustice and severing the ties of kinship.”

‏ أَسْرَعُ الْخَيْرِ ثَوَابًا الْبِرُّ وَصِلَةُ الرَّحِمِ وَأَسْرَعُ الشَّرِّ عُقُوبَةً الْبَغْىُ وَقَطِيعَةُ الرَّحِمِ ‏

‏ ‏.‏

English translation

It was narrated from ‘Aishah, the Mother of the Believers, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

“The most quickly rewarded of good deeds are kindness and upholding the ties of kinship, and the most quickly punished evil deeds are injustice and severing the ties of kinship.”

‏ حَسْبُ امْرِئٍ مِنَ الشَّرِّ أَنْ يَحْقِرَ أَخَاهُ الْمُسْلِمَ ‏

English translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

“It is sufficient evil for a man to look down on his Muslim brother.”

‏ إِنَّ اللَّهَ أَوْحَى إِلَىَّ أَنْ تَوَاضَعُوا وَلاَ يَبْغِي بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ ‏

English translation

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

“Allah has revealed to me that you should be humble towards one another and should not wrong one another.”
