The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed the Witr prayer every night and he completed Witr at the time of dawn.

“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to sleep during the first part of the night and stay awake during the latter part.”

“I never saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) fasting the (first) ten days (of Dhul- Hijjah).”

“On one occasion the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sent sheep to the House, and he garlanded them.”
