A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) asking his permission to take part in Jihad. The Prophet (ﷺ) asked him, "Are your parents alive?" He replied in the affirmative. The Prophet (ﷺ) said to him, "Then exert yourself in their service."

There came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) a person and said: I owe allegiance to you for migration and Jihad seeking reward only from Allah. He (the Prophet) said: Is one from amongst your parents living? He said: Yes, of course, both are living.

"A man came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and asked him for permission to go for Jihad. He said: 'Are your parents alive?' He said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Then strive for their sake.'"

A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) of Allah and said, "I swear allegiance to you for emigration and Jihad, seeking reward from Allah." He (ﷺ) said, "Is any of your parents alive?" He said, "Yes, both of them are alive." He (ﷺ) then asked, "Do yo

'Abdullah bin 'Umar (RAA) narrated ‘A man came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) asking his permission to go out for Jihad. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) asked him, “Are your parents alive?” He replied, ‘Yes.' The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) then said

'Abdullah ibn 'Amr said, "A man came to the Prophet, (ﷺ), wanting to do jihad. The Prophet (ﷺ) asked, 'Are your parents alive?' 'Yes,' he replied. he said, 'Then exert yourself on their behalf.'"
