Whenever we gave the Pledge of allegiance to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) for to listen to and obey, he used to say to us, for as much as you can."

I gave the Pledge of allegiance to the Prophet (ﷺ) that I would listen and obey, and he told me to add: 'As much as I can, and will give good advice to every Muslim.'

I owed allegiance to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on hearing ( is commands) and obeying (them) and the Prophet) instructed me (to act) as lay in my power, and sincerity and goodwill for every Muslim.

We used to take oath to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) that we would listen to and obey his orders. He would tell us (to say in the oath): As far as it lies in my power.

"I pledged to the Prophet (ﷺ) to hear and obey and to be sincere toward every Muslim."

"I gave my pledge to the Prophet (ﷺ) to hear and obey, and he told me to add the words.' In as much as you can, and to be since toward every Muslim"'. (Sahih) '
