  • محمد بن إسحاق أبو بكر، وقيل أبو عبد الله، محمد بن إسحاق بن يسار بن خيار (٢) ، وقيل يسار بن كوتان (٣) المطلبي بالولاء المديني صاحب المغازي والسير كان جده يسار مولى قيس بن مخرمة بن المطلب بن عبد مناف القرشي، سباه خالد بن الوليد من عين التمر، وكان محمد المذكور ثبتا في الحديث عند أكثر العلماء، وأما في المغازي والسير فلاتجهل إمامته فيها، قال ابن شهاب الزهري: من أراد المغازي فعليه بابن إسحاق وذكره البخاري في تاريخه؛ وروي عن الشافعي ﵁ أنه قال: من اراد أن يتبحر في المغازي فهو عيال على ابن إسحاق. وقال سفيان بن عيينة: ما أدركت أحدا يتهم ابن إسحاق في حديثه. وقال شعبة بن الحجاج: محمد بن إسحاق أمير المؤمنين، يعنى في الحديث. ويحكى عن الزهري أنه خرج إلى قرية فاتبعه طلاب الحديث فقال لهم: أين أنتم من الغلام الأحول أو قد خلفت فيكم الغلام الأحول، يعني ابن إسحاق. وذكر الساجي أن أصحاب الزهري كانوا يلجؤون إلى محمد بن إسحاق فيما شكوا فيه من حديث الزهري، ثقة منهم بحفظه؛ وحكي عن يحيى بن معين وأحمد بنحنبل ويحيى بن سعيد القطان أنهم وثقوا محمد بن إسحاق واحتجوا بحديثه، وإنما لم يخرج البخاري عنه وقد وثقه، وكذلك مسلم بن الحجاج لم يخرج عنه إلا حديثا واحدا في الرجم طعن مالك بن أنس فيه، وإنما طعن مالك فيه لأنه بلغه عنه أنه قال: هاتوا حديث مالك فأنا طبيب بعلله، فقال مالك: وما ابن إسحاق إنما هو دجال من الدجاجلة، نحن…

  • محمَّد بن إِسْحَاق (١٠٩٠ - ١١٦٧ هـ = ١٦٨٠ - ١٧٥٤ م) محمد بن إسحاق بن المهدي أحمد بن الحسن: إمام زيدي يماني. ولد بالغراس في حضرة جده المهديّ، وتعلم بصنعاء. وترشح للخلافة، فجرت بينه وبين المتوكل على الله القاسم بن الحسين أمور انتهت باعتقاله مدة. ولما مات المتوكل دعا محمد إلى نفسه وتكنى بالناصر وبايعه جميع أهل اليمن، وعارضه المنصور باللَّه الحسين بن القاسم، فانتقضت البلاد عليه، فنزل عن الإمامة للمنصوروبايعه. وسكن بصنعاء منقطعا إلى العلم، وافر الحرمة، معظما لدى المنصور إلى أن توفي. له نظم حسن جمعه ابنه إبراهيم في (ديوان) مرتب على الحروف، سماه (سلوة المشتاق في نظم المولى محمد ابن إِسْحَاق - خ) (١) .

  • محمد بن إسحاق (¬١) محمد بن إسحاق بن يسار بن خيار العلامة الحافظ الأخباري أبو عبد الله القرشي المطلبي مولاهم المدني صاحب السيرة النبوية، وكان جده يسار من سبي عين التمر في خلافة أبي بكر الصديق ﵁، وكان مولى قيس بن مخرمة بن المطلب بن عبد مناف ﵁. ولد سنة ثمانين من الهجرة ورأى أنس بن مالك وسعيد بن المسيب وسالم بن عبد الله بن عمر. روى عن أبيه وعمه موسى بن يسار، وعن أبان بن عثمان بن عفان، وسعيد بن أبي هند وسعيد المقبري ومكحول ونافع وأبي سلمة بن عبد الرحمن إن صح، والقاسم بن محمد وعكرمة ويحيى الأنصاري، وعبيد الله بن عبد الله بن عمر، وخلق من التابعين. روى عنه يزيد بن أبي حبيب ويحيى بن سعيد الأنصاري وهما من شيوخه من التابعين. وعبد الله بن عون وعبد الله بن سعيد بن أبي هند، وهما أكبر منه،وشعبة والثوري وحماد بن سلمة وحماد بن زيد وجرير بن حازم وجرير بن عبد الحميد وابن عيينة وطائفة. وهو أول مَنْ دوّن العلم بالمدينة وذلك قبل الإمام مالك وهو أسن من مالك بنحو ثلاثة عشرة سنة وإن كان مالك أجَل منه وأتقن.
