Abu Huraira is reported to have said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prohibited to observe prayer after the 'Asr prayer till the sun is set, and after the dawn till the sun rises.

I heard it from so many Companions of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and one among them is 'Umar b. Khattab, and he is most dear to me among them that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prohibited observing of prayer after the dawn prayer till the sun

Yahya related to me from Malik from Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Habban from al Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, (ﷺ), forbade prayer after asr until the sun had set, and prayer after subh until the sun had risen.

'Are you not going to pray?' He said: 'The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'There is no prayer after 'Asr until the sun has set, nor after Subh until the sun has risen.'"

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade praying after 'Asr until the sun had set, and after Subh until the sun had risen.

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade praying when the sun is rising or setting.

"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade praying after Subh until the sun had risen, and praying after 'Asr until the sun had set."

"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)forbade praying after 'Asr unless the sun was still white, clear and high."

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “No prayer should be offered after `Asr unless the sun is bright and still high.”
