An-Najasat (impure and filthy things) which fall in cooking butter (ghee - which is obtained by evaporating moisture from butter) and water

باب مَا يَقَعُ مِنَ النَّجَاسَاتِ فِي السَّمْنِ وَالْمَاءِ

وَقَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ لاَ بَأْسَ بِالْمَاءِ مَا لَمْ يُغَيِّرْهُ طَعْمٌ أَوْ رِيحٌ أَوْ لَوْنٌ. وَقَالَ حَمَّادٌ لاَ بَأْسَ بِرِيشِ الْمَيْتَةِ. وَقَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ فِي عِظَامِ الْمَوْتَى نَحْوَ الْفِيلِ وَغَيْرِهِ أَدْرَكْتُ نَاسًا مِنْ سَلَفِ الْعُلَمَاءِ يَمْتَشِطُونَ بِهَا، وَيَدَّهِنُونَ فِيهَا، لاَ يَرَوْنَ بِهِ بَأْسًا. وَقَالَ ابْنُ سِيرِينَ وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ وَلاَ بَأْسَ بِتِجَارَةِ الْعَاجِ.

‏ أَلْقُوهَا وَمَا حَوْلَهَا فَاطْرَحُوهُ‏.‏ وَكُلُوا سَمْنَكُمْ ‏

English translation

Narrated Maimuna:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was asked regarding ghee (cooking butter) in which a mouse had fallen. He said, "Take out the mouse and throw away the ghee around it and use the rest."

English translation

Narrated Maimuna:

The Prophet (ﷺ) was asked regarding ghee in which a mouse had fallen. He said, "Take out the mouse and throw away the ghee around it (and use the rest.)"

‏ كُلُّ كَلْمٍ يُكْلَمُهُ الْمُسْلِمُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ يَكُونُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كَهَيْئَتِهَا إِذْ طُعِنَتْ، تَفَجَّرُ دَمًا، اللَّوْنُ لَوْنُ الدَّمِ، وَالْعَرْفُ عَرْفُ الْمِسْكِ ‏

‏‏.‏

English translation

Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A wound which a Muslim receives in Allah's cause will appear on the Day of Resurrection as it was at the time of infliction; blood will be flowing from the wound and its color will be that of the blood but will smell like musk."
