حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمَهْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ - عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُهِلُّ مُلَبِّدًا ‏.‏

English translation

Ibn `Umar said that he heard the Prophet (SWAS) say with hair matted that he raised his voice in the talbiyah.

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَبَّدَ رَأْسَهُ بِالْعَسَلِ ‏.‏

English translation

Ibn `Umar said :

The Prophet (SWAS) matted his hair with honey.
