بهز بن حكيم بن معاوية بن حيدة أبو عبد الملك القشيري. روى عن: أبيه، عن جده، وعن زرارة بن أوفى، وهشام بن عروة إن كان محفوظا. وعنه: سليمان التيمي، وابن عون، وجرير بن حازم، وغيرهم من أقرانه، والحمادان، ومعمر بن راشد، ومعاذ بن معاذ، وأبو أسامة، وابن علية، ويزيد بن هارون، ومحمد بن عبد الله الأنصاري، ومكي …▸ expand full passage (1,701 chars)بهز بن حكيم بن معاوية بن حيدة أبو عبد الملك القشيري. روى عن: أبيه، عن جده، وعن زرارة بن أوفى، وهشام بن عروة إن كان محفوظا. وعنه: سليمان التيمي، وابن عون، وجرير بن حازم، وغيرهم من أقرانه، والحمادان، ومعمر بن راشد، ومعاذ بن معاذ، وأبو أسامة، وابن علية، ويزيد بن هارون، ومحمد بن عبد الله الأنصاري، ومكي بن إبراهيم، وهو آخر من روى عنه. قال إسحاق بن منصور عن يحيى بن معين: ثقة. وقال أيضا: إسناد صحيح إذا كان دون بهز ثقة. وقال ابن البراء، عن ابن المديني: ثقة. وقال أبو زرعة: صالح، ولكنه ليس بالمشهور. وقال أبو حاتم: هو شيخ يكتب حديثه، ولا يحتج به. وقال أيضا: عمرو بن شعيب عن أبيه عن جده أحب إلي. وقال النسائي: ثقة. وقال صالح جزرة: إسناد أعرابي. وقال الحاكم: كان من الثقات ممن يجمع حديثه، وإنما أسقط من الصحيح روايته عن أبيه عن جده لأنها شاذة لا متابع له عليها.وقال ابن عدي: قد روى عنه ثقات الناس، وقد روى عنه الزهري، وأرجو أنه لا بأس به، ولم أر له حديثا منكرا، وإذا حدث عنه ثقة فلا بأس به. قلت: وقال الآجري، عن أبي داود: هو عندي حجة، وعند الشافعي ليس بحجة، ولم يحدث شعبة عنه، وقال له: من أنت، ومن أبوك؟. وقال ابن حبان: كان يخطئ كثيرا، فأما أحمد وإسحاق فهما يحتجان به، وتركه جماعة من أئمتنا، ولولا حديثه: إنا آخذوها وشطر ماله لأدخلناه في الثقات، وهو ممن أستخير الله فيه. وقال الترمذي: وقد تكلم شعبة في بهز، وهو ثقة عند أهل الحديث. وقال أبو جعفر محمد بن الحسين البغدادي في كتاب التمييز: قلت لأحمد - يعني ابن حنبل: ما تقول في بهز بن حكيم؟ قال: سألت غندرا عنه فقال: قد كان شعبة مسه ثم تبين معناه، فكتب عنه. قال: وسألت ابن معين هل روى شعبة عن بهز؟ قال: نعم، حديث أترعون عن ذكر الفاجر. وقد كان شعبة متوقفا عنه. وقال أبو جعفر السبتي: بهز بن حكيم عن أبيه عن جده صحيح. وقال ابن قتيبة: كان من خيار الناس. وقال أحمد بن بشير: أتيت البصرة في طلب الحديث، فأتيت بهزا فوجدته يلعب بالشطرنج مع قوم فتركته، ولم أسمع منه. • ق -
