Inspect grading records2/5 narrator identities are resolved. 1/4 direct links have comparator or accepted classical support; 3 links retain an unresolved endpoint.
Inspect the sanad3/7 related public chains share at least one resolved narrator; 8 direct transmission links repeat.

Inspect wording variationNo scholarly proposition is attached yet. The workspace can record one without converting system signals into a conclusion.
Open scholarly annotationsNo formal classified disagreement is attached to this chain; this is not treated as proof of consensus.
Inspect scholarly positionsRecord a precise mas’ala and authored proposition, then attach the exact hadith, narrator, classical passage and accepted principle records used to support, contextualise or challenge it.
These are authored research propositions, not system-generated rulings. Every entry keeps its author, review state and exact evidence links. Acceptance requires a different named reviewer.
Open the cross-hadith istidlal index →·Manage scholar identities →No scholarly annotation has been authored for this hadith yet. The evidence remains available above and below without an inferred conclusion.
The Arabic sanad is preserved as transmitted. Identified narrator names below it are clickable.
1/4 links corroborated
Path 1: 2/5 identities resolved; 2 narrator dossiers contain source evidence; 1/4 edges corroborated; 3 unresolved edge endpoints; 0 generation-order conflicts; 1 narrator explicitly criticized.
Criticism and uncertainty are shown distinctly. The system does not collapse different critics into a manufactured verdict.

Messenger of Allah, only this man has appropriated my land which belonged to my father. The one who had came from Kinda contended. This is my land and is in my possession: I cultivate it. There is no right for him in it. The Messenger of Allah said to the Hadramite: Have you any evidence (to support you)? He replied in the negative. He (the Messenger of Allah) said: Then your case is to be decided on his oath. He (the Hadramite) said: Messenger of Allah, he is a liar and cares not what he swears and has no regard for anything. Upon this he (the Messenger of Allah) remarked: For you then there is no other help to it. He (the man from Kinda) set out to take an oath. When he turned his back the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed: If he took an oath on his property with a view to usurping it, he would certainly meet his Lord in a state that He would turn away from him.
"A man from Hadramawt and a man from Kindah came to the Prophet (ﷺ). The Hadrami said: 'O Messenger of Allah! This person took some land of mine.' The Kindi said:'It is my land, It is in my possession, and he has no right to it.' So the Prophet (ﷺ) said to the Hadrami:'Do you have proof?' He said: 'No.' He said: 'Then you will have the oath.' He said: 'O Messenger of Allah! This man is a liar, it makes not difference what he takes an oath for, he is not ashamed of doing anything!' He said: 'There is nothing you deserve from him except that.' He said: So the man was left to take an oath for it, and in the meantime, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'If he takes an oath [for your property] to wrongfully consume it, He will meet Allah while He is angry with him."
A man of Kindah and a man of Hadramawt brought their dispute to the Prophet (ﷺ) about a land in the Yemen. Al-Hadrami replied: No, but I make him swear (that he should say) that he does not know that it is my land which his father usurped from me. Al-Kindi became ready to take the oath. ‘Alqama b. Wa’il told on his father’s authority that a man from Hadramaut and man from Kinda came to the Prophet, the Hadrami saying, ‘‘Messenger of God, this man has seized land belonging to me,” and the Kindi saying, “It is my land and in my possession; he has no right to it.” The Prophet (ﷺ) asked the Hadrami if he had any proof, but he replied that he had none, so he told him that he could have the other swear an oath. He replied, “Messenger of God, the man is a reprobate who would swear to anything and stick at nothing,” but he told him that that was his only recourse. The man went off to take an oath, and when he turned his back God’s Messenger said, “If he swears about his property to take it unjustly he will certainly find God turning away from him when he meets Him.” Muslim transmitted it.
