The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "It is better for a man to fill the inside of his body with pus than to fill it with poetry."

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ; said, "It is better for anyone of you that the inside of his body be filled with pus which may consume his body, than it be filled with poetry."

It is better for the belly of any one of you to be stuffed with pus rather than to stuff (one's mind) with poetry.

that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "It is better that one of you fill his insides with puss than to fill it with poetry."

from his father that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "It is better that one of you fill his insides with puss than to fill it with poetry."

"If a man were to fill his stomach completely with pus until it destroyed him, that would be better for him than filling (his mind) with poetry."

Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah, (ﷺ), said, "It is better for a man to fill his belly with oozing pus than to fill it with poetry."

Ibn 'Umar reported that the Prophet, (ﷺ), said, "It is better for one of you to fill his belly with pus than to fill it with poetry."

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “If the belly of one of you were to be filled with pus that corrodes it, that would be better than filling (his mind) with poetry."

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "If the belly of one of you were to be filled with pus, that would be better than filling [his mind] with poetry.”
