It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was one of the most generous of people, and he was at his most generous in Ramadan, when Jibreel met with him. Jibreel would meet with him every night, reviewing the Qur'an with him. When Jibreel met with him, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was more generous than the blowing wind.
