It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was the most generous of people. As soon as the month of Ramadan began and Jibreel (عليه السلام) began to review (the Qur'an) with him, he would become more generous than the wind.
