Sa`d bin Ubada consulted Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "My mother died and she had an unfulfilled vow." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Fulfill it on her behalf."

That Sa'd bin 'Ubadah asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about a vow that was due from his mother, who died before fulfilling it. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Fulfill it for her."

Sa'd bin 'Ubadah came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: "My mother has died and she had a vow to fulfill but she did not do so." He said: "Fulfill it on her behalf."

"Sa'd bin 'Ubadah asked the Messenger of Allah about a vow which his mother had sworn, but she died before she could fulfill it. The Messenger of Allah said: 'Fulfill it on her behalf.'"

"Sa'd bin 'Ubadah came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: 'My mother died and she had sworn a vow, but she did not fulfill it.' He said: 'Fulfill it on her behalf.'"

Sa'd bin 'Ubadah asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about a vow which his mother had made, but she had died without fulfilling it. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Fulfill it on her behalf ."

Sa'd bin Ubada asked Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) for a ruling regarding a vow taken by his mother who had died before fulfilling it, and he said, "Fulfill it on her behalf." [Agreed upon].

Sa‘d bin "Ubadah asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about a vow that his mother had made, but she had died before she fulfilled it. He said: "Fulfil it on her behalf.”

Ibn ‘Abbas told that Sa'd b. ‘Ubada asked the Prophet (ﷺ) for a decision about a vow taken by his mother who had died before fulfilling it, and that he gave decision that he should fulfil it on her behalf. (Bukhari and Muslim.)
