  • [٧٠٣٦] عَبدُ الرَّحمنِ بنُ عَمرٍو الأوْزاعِيُّ (¬٣). ولمْ يَكُنْ منهُمْ، نزلَ فيهمْ (¬٤)، والأوزاعُ مِنْ حِمْيَرَ. الشَّامِيُّ. قالَ الحسنُ، عنْ ضَمْرَةَ، سَمعتُ الأوْزاعيَّ: كنتُ محُتلِمًا، أوْ شِبهَهُ، خِلافةَ عُمرَ بنِ عبدِ العزيزِ. وماتَ الأوْزاعيُّ سنةَ سبعٍ وخمسينَ ومائةٍ، قالَهُ حمَّادُ بنُ مالكٍ (¬٥).وقالَ (¬١) إبراهيمُ بنُ موسَى: سمعتُ عيسَى بنَ يُونُسَ يقولُ (¬٢): كانَ الأوزاعيُّ حَافظًا. يُقالُ: هوَ ابنُ عمِّ يحيَى بنِ أبِي عَمْرٍو السَّيبانيِّ (¬٣). والأَوْزاعُ قريةٌ بدِمَشقَ إذَا خَرَجتَ منْ بابِ الفَراديسِ. سمعَ منهُ الثوريُّ.
