Hadith text · Matn

‏ الْمَيِّتُ يُعَذَّبُ بِبُكَاءِ أَهْلِهِ عَلَيْهِ ‏

English translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar, from 'Umar, that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:

"The deceased is punished due to the weeping of his family for him."
