‏ يَا عَائِشَةُ اسْتَعِيذِي بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شَرِّ هَذَا فَإِنَّ هَذَا الْغَاسِقُ إِذَا وَقَبَ ‏

‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ‏.‏

English translation

Aishah narrated:

“The Prophet (ﷺ) looked at the moon and he said: ‘O Aishah! Do you seek refuge with Allah from the evil of this? For indeed this is Al-Ghasiqu Idha Waqab (The darkened one as it darkens).’”

‏ قَدْ أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَلَىَّ آيَاتٍ لَمْ يُرَ مِثْلُهُنَّ ‏:‏ ‏(‏ قلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ ‏)‏ إِلَى آخِرِ السُّورَةِ وَ ‏:‏ ‏(‏قلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ ‏)‏ إِلَى آخِرِ السُّورَةِ ‏

‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ‏.‏

English translation

Uqbah bin Amir Al-Juhni narrated that:

the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Allah has revealed to me Ayat the likes of which have not been seen: “Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind…” until the end of the Surat. “Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of Al-Falaq…” until the end of the Surat.
