التَّثَاؤُبُ فِي الصَّلاَةِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ فَإِذَا تَثَاءَبَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَكْظِمْ مَا اسْتَطَاعَ
. قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ وَجَدِّ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَقَدْ كَرِهَ قَوْمٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ التَّثَاؤُبَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ . قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ إِنِّي لأَرُدُّ التَّثَاؤُبَ بِالتَّنَحْنُحِ .
English translation
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
"Yawning in prayer (salah) is from the Shaitan, so when one of you yawns then let him suppress (it) as much as possible."
