‏ نَفْسُ الْمُؤْمِنِ مُعَلَّقَةٌ بِدَيْنِهِ حَتَّى يُقْضَى عَنْهُ ‏

English translation

Abu Hurairah narrated that:

The Messenger of Allah said: "The believer's soul is suspended by his debt until it is settled for him."

‏ نَفْسُ الْمُؤْمِنِ مُعَلَّقَةٌ بِدَيْنِهِ حَتَّى يُقْضَى عَنْهُ ‏

English translation

(Another chain) Abu Hurairah narrated that:

The Messenger of Allah said: "The believer's soul is suspended by his debt until it is settled for him."
