حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَابِسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ إِنَّمَا نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ عَنْ لُحُومِ الأَضَاحِيِّ لِجَهْدِ النَّاسِ ثُمَّ رَخَّصَ فِيهَا ‏.‏

English translation

It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:

“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) only forbade storing the meat of the sacrifices because the people were facing hardship. Then later he permitted that.”

‏ كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ لُحُومِ الأَضَاحِيِّ فَوْقَ ثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّامٍ فَكُلُوا وَادَّخِرُوا ‏

‏ ‏.‏

English translation

It was narrated from Nubaishah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

“I used to forbid you to store the meat of the sacrifices for more than three days, but (now) eat some and store some.”
