أبُو عُبَيْد (٢٣٢ - ٣١٩ هـ = ٨٤٧ - ٩٣١ م) علي بن الحسين بن بحرب، الملقب ب أبي عبيد: فقيه مجتهد، من القضاة، له تصانيف. ولد ببغداد وقدم مصر سنة ٢٩٣ فولي قضاءها. وعزل سنة ٣١١ فخرج إلى بغداد، فتوفي فيها (٢) .
