    ٩٠٥٠- هاشم بن حرملة المريّ: من فرسان الجاهليّة. أدرك الإسلام، وعاش إلى خلافة عمر. وقرأت في التاريخ المظفريّ أنّ عمر قال لرجل من بني مرة: إن شئتم أن ترجعوا إلى نسبكم- يعني في قريش، وكان منهم الحارث بن عوف، وحصين بن الحمام، وهرم، وخارجة ولدا سنان، وهاشم بن حرملة، وهاشم هو الّذي مدحه عامر الجعفي بقوله:أحيا أباه هاشم بن حرملة ... يوم الهباءات ويوم اليعمله [الرجز] فلم يعجبه، فزاد فيها: ترى الملوك حوله مغربله «١» ... يقتل ذا الذّنب ومن لا ذنب له [الرجز] فأعجبه وأثابه.
