    علي بن التاودي ابن سودة وفي ثامن وعشري قعدة توفي علي بن التاودي بن الشيخ المهدي بن الطالب ابن سودة. تقدمت وفاة والده عام تسعة عشر وثلاثمائة وألف. وكانت ولادته عام سبعة وتسعين ومائتين وألف. العالم الصوفي الخيّر الذاكر المتبتل المشارك، يحسن المذاكرة في علم التصوف ويجالس أهله وينتمي إليهم ويعد من أفرادهم. تولى النظارة بأحد قبائل الجبل وذهب إلى الحج آخر عمره وأدى فريضته. دفن بروضة أولاد الشيخ التاودي بالقباب خارج باب الفتوح. انظر فهرستنا سل النصال.
