    الغالي بن محمد الدمناتي وفي ليلة الجمعة ثاني وعشري رمضان توفي الغالي بن محمد-فتحا-الدمناتي، من أولاد الدمناتي المعروفين بفاس. صاحب كلام الملحون الأدب الشعبي المغربي، له في ذلك عدة قصائد عجيبة يتأثر بها كل من سمعها من هواة هذا الفن، وكثيرا ما كان ينشدني بعضها وأذكّره ببعضها. دفن من غده بعد صلاة الجمعة عليه بجامع الأندلس ودفن قرب باب الحمراء برأس القليعة.
