رفع الراية المغربية فوق القصر الملكي بالرباط وفي أواخر جمادى الثانية موافق تاسع عشر مايو سنة ١٩٤٧ رفعت الراية المغربية وحدها فوق القصر الملكي العامر بالرباط، وذلك في احتفال مؤثر حضره صاحب الجلالة الملك، لأنها كانت قبل ترفع مع العلم الفرنسي، وسمي ذلك اليوم بيوم الراية المغربية.
