    أبو الشتاء بن الحسن الصنهاجي الغازي وفي يوم الثلاثاء ثاني وعشري رمضان توفي أبو الشتاء بن الحسن الصنهاجي الغازي، العلامة المشارك المدرس النفاعة، تولى التدريس بالنظام القروي، وله عدة تآليف، منها حاشية على شرح التاودي على التحفة؛ وحاشية على شرح اللاّمية؛ وتاليف في الفرائض إلى غير ذلك من التآليف التي تقرب من عشرين تأليفا. كذا بلغني. دفن بالقباب، وكانت ولادته عام تسعة وتسعين ومائتين وألف. له ترجمة في سل النصال مع صورته.
