    انحباس المطر عن فاس ونواحيها وفي أواسط هذا العام الموافق لأوائل مارس العجمي سنة ١٩٤٣ انحبس المطر عن فاس ونواحيها من أول مارس المذكور إلى خامس عشر أبريل وحصل للناس ضرر من ذلك، فأقاموا صلاة الاستسقاء بمصلى باب الفتوح وصلى بهم الشيخ علي بن الشيخ الطيب بن الشيخ العربي الدرقاوي الحسني الآتي الوفاة عام خمسة وستين وثلاثمائة ألف، وذلك يوم الخميس تاسع ربيع الثاني عامه، وبإثر ذلك نزل المطر والحمد لله.
