    نزول الحلفاء بالمغرب وفي صباح يوم الأحد تاسع وعشري شوال أصبح المغرب محاطا بقطع من الأسطول الحربي الأنجليزي والامريكي لأجل النزول إلى شواطئ المغرب، فمنعته القوات الفرنسية التي بالمغرب ووقعت بينهما مناوشات باعانة الجنود المغاربة لأن فرنسا في ذلك الوقت كانت تحت حكم الألمان، وأخيرا نزلت جنود الحلفاء في ثغر المهدية ومدينة فضالة المعروفة اليوم بالمحمدية، ومدينة أسفي بل وفي جل مدن الشمال الإفريقي وصار الجميع تحت سلطة الحلفاء عسكريا بقية فترة الحرب.
