    العباس بن عبد الرحمان الشرفي وفي يوم الخميس حادي وعشري جمادى الأولى توفي أبو الفضل العباس بن عبد الرحمان ابن محمد الشّرفي الأندلسي. تقدمت وفاة والده عام أربعة وثلاثمائة وألف. كان أديبا مشاركا ناظما ناثرا مجيدا مقتدرا، يقول الشعر على طريقة أهل الأندلس. تولى الكتابة بدار المخزن من زمن المولى عبد العزيز وأخيرا تولى رياسة مجلس الجنايات. له ديوان شعري حافل كما أخبرني. توفي بالرباط ودفن ببعض زواياه. له ترجمة في سل النصال.
