    حَدّو بن إدريس الدغوغي مات المجذوب المتبرك به الصالح حدّو بن البركة الصالح إدريس الدغوغي (١) نسبا وطريقة يوم الأحد ثامن رجب سنة ثلاث وثلاثين وثلاثمائة وألف في الساعة الرابعة عشية بطراز وسط وسعة المخفية، وجهز بدار السيد عبد الحفيظ الشامي ودفن بعد المغرب بالقباب قرب قبة الغياثي ﵀. اسم أمه فاطمة، ومات عن نيّف وستين سنة. حضرت جنازتة والصلاة عليه ودفنه وكانت له جنازة مشهورة ﵀ وكان كثير الصمت والعزلة قليل الكلام متبركا به مقصودا مشارا إليه بالخبر والخصوصية. جاء عندي مرة بدار العيون بعد موت الوالد وأكل عندي، وكان من النوادر بدينا يلبس الثياب الغليظة. انتهى من خط الشيخ عبد الحي بن عبد الكبير الكتاني.
