    علي بن عبد القادر ابن سودة في يوم الخميس سابع عشر محرم توفي علي بن عبد القادر بن الطالب ابن سودة. ولد عام أربعة وخمسين ومائتين وألف، وتقدمت وفاة والده عام اثنين وتسعين ومائتين وألف. كان علامة مدرسا مطلعا حيسوبيا متفننا أديبا شاعرا نائبا عن قاضي مكناس مدة، له شرح على همزية البوصيري؛ وله نظم في مصطلح الحديث. وله ديوان شعر، إلى غير ذلك. دفن بزاوية الشرادي قبالة درب الدرج. له ترجمة في سل النصال (١).
