    أحمد بن الطالب ابن سودة وفي صبيحة يوم الجمعة عاشر رجب توفي أحمد بن الطالب بن محمد-فتحا-ابن سودة، الشيخ الإمام، علم الأعلام، الحجة المشارك المحقق المدقق المدرس شيخ الجماعة وشيخ سلطان وقته صاحب الإملاء بين يديه. كانت ولادته عام أحد وأربعين ومائتين وألف. تقدمت وفاة والده عام ثلاثة وأربعين ومائتين وألف. له حاشية على صحيح البخاري في مجلدين؛ وله القول الأتم فيما لهم بالتدمية بالسمّ؛ وتحرير المقال بغير اعتساف فيما لهم في البسملة من الخلاف؛ وختمات لصحيح الإمام البخاري إلى غير ذلك من التآليف والتقاييد. دفن بزاوية الشرادي قبالة درب الدرج بالعدوة، وهو أول من دفن بها.
