    العربي ابن السّايح وفي تاسع وعشري رجب توفي العربي بن محمد ابن السايح نزيل الرباط، العالم العلامة المشارك المدرس المؤلف المتفنن، له عدة تآليف، منها شرح منية المريد في الطريقة التجانية سماه بغية المستفيد؛ وله شرح على لامية للإمام البوصيري في مجلد وهي في المدح. كانت ولادته عام تسعة وعشرين ومائتين وألف. توفي بالرباط وجعل ضريحه زاوية نسبت إليه وبنيت قبة حافلة على قبره من أموال أصحاب الطريقة التجانية بالرباط، كذا بلغني.
