    الحسين بن عبد الرحمان السملالي وفي يوم الأربعاء ثاني عشر جمادى الثانية توفي الحسين بن عبد الرحمان السملالي الحسني. كان فقيها مدرسا مفتيا، أكثر تديرسه مع طلبة البادية، ملازما لضريح المولى إدريس بن إدريس بفاس. له تآليف، منها تأليف في سيرة المولى الحسن سماه الفتوحات الوهية في سيرة المولى الحسن السنية ومفاخر اختراعاته البهية، في مجلد وقفت عليه. دفن من غده الخميس بروضة من حومة الزربطانة عن نحو سبعين سنة. بقي ذكره على صاحب السلوة.
