أحمد بن محمد الحجرتي وفي زوال يوم الخميس حادي عشر جمادى الثانية توفي أحمد بن محمد بن الشيخ عبد الرحمان الحجرتي السجلماسي. تقدمت وفاة والده عام خمسة وسبعين ومائتين وألف. كان فقيها مدرسا في جل الفنون، تولى النيابة عن قاضي الجماعة بمقصورة السماط مدة، ثم تولى القضاء بها وبقى عليها إلى أن توفي، ودفن بالقباب بروضة العلماء أو قريبا منها، وتولى مكانه بالمقصورة الشيخ أحمد دعي حميد بن محمد بناني، نقل من مقصورة الرصيف وبقى بناني هناك إلى أن رجع إلى مقصورته عام خمسة عشر وثلاثمائة وألف كما ياتي.
