    عبد الرحمان العلج وفيه توفي عبد الرحمان العلج، أصله من فرنسا، ثم هداه الله إلى الإسلام وورد على السلطان المولى عبد الرحمان فأسلم وحسن إسلامه، وصار يفيد الناس بعلومه في الرياضاتوالعلوم الحربية الوقتية. وممن استفاد منه العلامة المولى إدريس بن الطايع العلوي البلغيثي الآتي الوفاة عام اثنين وعشرين وثلاثمائة وألف. وكان يسطر الرخامات لأوقات الصلاة. توفي بفاس في التاريخ المذكور، ودفن بمقبرة باب المحروق. له ترجمة في كتاب الإعلام بقى ذكره على صاحب السلوة.
