    محمد بن المعطي السرغيني وفي ثالث محرم توفي محمد بن المعطي بن أحمد بن محمد السرغيني، شيخ الجماعة في وقته بمراكش. كان علامة مشاركا حافظا مطلعا، له فهرسة سماها حدائق الأزهار في ذكر معتمدي من الأخبار؛ وله شرح على البردة للإمام البوصيري، إلى غير ذلك من التآليف؛ وله شعر متوسط الجودة. دفن ببلده. تقدمت وفاة والده عام اثنين وثمانين ومائتين وألف.
