    عمر بن عبد القادر الرّندى وفي سابع وعشري صفر توفي عمر بن عبد القادر الرّندى الأندلسي، العلامة المشارك النوازلي المطلع القاضي الاعدل. تولى القضاء بمقصورة الرصيف وهو أول قاض بها. ولما تولى أظهر العدل والإنصاف لا يراعي أحدا. له نوازل كبرى في نحو ثلاثة أسفار أظهر فيها علمه. كانت ولادته عام ثمانية عشر ومائتين وألف، وتولى القضاء عام أربعة وثمانين ومائتين وألف. توفي على القضاء المذكور، ودفن أسفل ضريح الشيخ حبيّب بالقباب خارج باب الفتوح. انظر سبب توليته القضاء في كتابنا قضاة فاس.
