    محمد النحول ابن سودة وفي يوم الثلاثاء ثالث عشر حجة توفي محمد بن محمد بن علال ابن سودة عرف بالنحول لرقة جسمه. كان علامة مشاركا مدرسا شاعرا مجيدا، له الحسام المسنون في الرد على الفقيه كنون؛ وتأليف في إعراب لفظ ثمود، إلى غير ذلك؛ وله كناشة حافلة جامعة أكثر فيها من الفوائد دخلت إلى خزانتنا الأحمدية. ولي خطة القضاء بطنجة وتوفي قبل أن ينصرف إليها، ودفن برأس القليعة داخل باب الفتوح. بقى ذكره على صاحب السلوة.
