    محمد بن إدريس العمراوي في يوم الاثنين رابع محرم توفي محمد بن محمد بن محمد ابن إدريس العمراوي عرف بابن الحاج، تقدمت وفاة والده عام سبعة وثلاثين ومائتين وألف. كان علامة مشاركا مطلعا أديبا شاعرا فحلا مجيدا، تولى الوزارة زمن السلطان المولى عبد الرحمان مدة طويلة، وكان هو المفوض في الأمور، له الدرجة الأولى في القريض، وبديهته على نمط فحول الشعراء. وقد جمع شعره ولده إدريس في ديوان ضخم بأمر من مولانا الحسن، وترجمته واسعة، ودفن بروضتهم بالقباب. وقد خلف اثنى عشر ولدا ذكرا.
