    أحمد بن محمد البداوي بونافع وفي يوم الخميس رابع وعشري ذي القعدة بعد الزوال توفي أحمد بن محمد بن عبد القادر بن أحمد بن علي بن صالح ابن أحمد البداوي بونافع، من حفذة الشيخ بونافع دفين باب الجياف بفاس العليا. كان علامة مشاركا مدرسا أصبح شيخ الجماعة في وقته، ويذكر عنه أنه كان يقول: عندي أربعة وعشرون علما لم يسألني عنها أحد، وهو آخر تلامذة الشيخ التاودي ابن سودة. له شرح على الألفية في مجلدين سماه كمال المنا والأمنية بتوضيع جواهر نظم الألفية، ألفه بأمر من المولى سليمان ذكر ذلك في أوله، وله فهرسة في مجلد طالما طلبتها ولم أقف عليها. انظر الدليل. دفن بصريح جده بفاس الجديد الشهير هناك.
