محمد بن عبد الكريم اليازغي وفي سادس وعشري قعدة توفي محمد بن عبد الكريم بن علي اليازغي الزهني، تقدمت وفاة والده عام تسعة وتسعين ومائة وألف. كان علامة مدرسا مشاركا مجيدا مطلعا. أخذ عنه الجد المهدي ابن سودة، وقال الجد أحمد في بعض مقيداته إنه ولد بفاس في حدود التسعينومائة وألف، وأخذ عن ابن الحاج وابن شقرون والزروالي والعراقي وابن منصور وغيرهم، وهو ممن أخذته المحنة فرحل إلى مراكش وبه توفي.
