    العربي بن أحمد ابن سودة وفي يوم الأحد عاشر شوال توفي العربي بن أحمد بن الشيخ التاودي ابن سودة في حياة والده. له مشاركة تامة في جل العلوم، وله تآليف، منها شرح على الموطا لم يكمل؛ والمنح القدوسية في شرح الوظيفة الزروقية؛ ونهاية المنى والسول في حب آل الرسول؛ وفتح الملك الجليل في حل مقفل فرائض الشيخ خليل؛ وتحقيق الأنباء فيما يتعلق بطاعون الوباء؛ والقول الكاشف في التحصيص والتقييد لنية الحالف؛ وتسهيل المطالب للطالب في الرد على من حرّم سكّر القالب؛ وحاشية على شرح المكودي للألفية، إلى غير ذلك من التآليف. دفن بزاوية جده بزقاق البغل.
