    قدوم عثمان بن محمود القادري إلى فاس وفي يوم السبت المذكور قدم إلى فاس الجديد عثمان بن محمود من عقب عبد الرزاق بن المولى عبد القادر الجيلالي. ومن غده دخل إلى فاس البالي ونزل بالزاوية القادرية وأكرمه الناس وفقراء جده وأعطاه قائد فاس كل يوم خمسين درهما نفقة من عامل فاس ثم قطعه عنه لأن السلطان أمر بمنع ذلك، وبعد ذلك سافر إلى مكناسة لأجل الاتصال بالسلطان.
