    (٩١٤) غن- ل- الوليد بن حماد بن زياد اللؤلؤي الهمداني ابن أخي الحسن بن زياد اللؤلؤي. عن عَمِّهِ الحسن بن زياد. وعنه محمد بن عثمان بن أبي شيبة. قال أبوإسحاق الثعلبي في أواخر تفسير الفاتحة: "لا يُدرى من هو"، وذكره ابن حِبَّان في "الثقات"، وقال ابن الجزري في "غاية النهاية في طبقات القراء": "روى الحروف عن عَمِّهِ الحسن بن زياد، عن عيسى بن عمر الهمداني. روى عنه الحروف ابنه إبراهيم".ا. هـ. قلت: قال أبو عوانة في "صحيحه": "حدثني محمد بن عبيد بن عتبة الكوفي قال: حدثنا الوليد بن حماد اللؤلؤي -وكان من البكائين، ثقة فقيه، لا يُفتي بالرأي-" وذكر حديثًا (١).
