[ذكره ابن حِبَّان في "الثقات" وقال: "يُغْرِبُ"].ا. هـ. قلت: روى عن ضمرة بن ربيعة، والوليد بن مسلم، وعقبة بن علقمة البيروتي، وجماعة. روى عنه محمد بن عوف، وأبو زرعة الدمشقي، وأبو زرعة وأبو حاتم الرازيَّان، وجماعة. قال أبو حاتم الرازي: "صدوق" (٢).
