(٥٢٣) ذك- تع- عثمان بن إبراهيم بن محمد بن حاطب الجمحي: [رأى ابن عمر ﵄، وروى] عن جدِّه محمد، وأمِّهعائشة بنت قدامة. [روى] عنه ابن عبد الرحمن، وشريك القاضي، ويعلى بن عبيد. [قال ابن أبي حاتم: "سألت أبي عنه؟ فقال: روى عنه ابنه عبد الرحمن أحاديث منكرة. قلت: ما حاله؟ قال: يُكْتَبُ حديثه وهو شيخ"]، وذكره ابن حِبَّان في "الثقات"، [وقال يحيى بن سعيد الأموي: "كان رأس حلقة القرشيين"، وقال أبو مصعب الزبيري: "كان جزلاً موجهًا ذا عارضة"]،.ا. هـ. بتصرف. قلت: قال ابن الجنيد، عن يحسى بن معين: "صالح" (١).
