(١٠٨) أيوب بن سليمان المكتب البصري الأزدي صاحب الكرابيس: روى عن أبي عوانة، وأبي هلال الراسبي. روى عنه أحمد بن منصور الرمادي، وعمرو بن علي الفلاس، وعلي بن نصر الجهضمي، وغيرهم. قال أحمد بن منصور الرمادي: "حدثنا أيوب بن سليمان صاحب الكراء -وكان من الثقات-"، وذكره ابن حِبَّان في "الثقات" (٢).
