[ذكره ابن حِبَّان في "الثقات"].ا. هـ. بتصرف. قلت: روى عن مالك بن مغول، والحكم بن عطية، وعبد الواحد بن زياد. روى عنه عمرو بن علي الفلاس، ومحمد بن يونس الكديمي،ومحمد بن المثنى العنبري، وغيرهم. قال أبو حاتم الرازي: "ما بحديثه بأس"، وقال البرقاني، عن الدارقطني: "بصري، صالح" (١).
